Forgiveness is the privilege of those
who swallowed their pride to ask for it.

Forgiveness is therefore nothing the aggrieved party can give or do.
It is the universe´s grace.
It is God´s grace.
Forgiveness belongs to those who acknowledge their wrong doings
before the aggrieved party.

Letting go and forgiveness are NOT the same things.
While forgiveness is the act of DIVINE GRACE, freeing the wrong doer
from his carmic debt and the carmic memory, that is attached to it,
letting go is the act of dropping the charges against the accused.
The wrong doer.
The person who harmed an other.
Dropping the charges can NOT free the wrong doer from the carmic debt.

No man or woman can therefore forgive.
He can only drop the charges and therefore free HIMSELF from the burden of entanglement with the perpetrator,
but can NOT free the perpetrator from the carmic repercussions of his actions.
No man can lift the carmic debt off of another man.
It has to be lifted by WHOLEHARTED REMORSE and therefore by DIVINE GRACE.
And by divine grace alone.
